SUPPLIES :

Step 1: Cut the fabric

Fold your faux fur fabric in half, then cut:

  • Front : once (by placing the pattern on the folded fabric).

  • The back : Once, also in the fold.

Repeat exactly the same steps with the loop wool leopard fabric. Make sure all the parts are well aligned before cutting for a specific result.

Step 2: assemble the shoulders

Place shoulder to shoulders of the front and back. Pin carefully to prevent the fabric from slipping. Then sew a straight point 1 cm from the edge.

Repeat this step both for faux fur and for leopard loop wool. Then open the seams with an iron for a clearer rendering.

Step 3: Assemble the two fabrics

Once the shoulders are assembled, open your vest flat, with all the well -arranged parts.

place one on top of the other place Faux fur and leopard tissue.
Pin carefully:

  • The armholes

  • The front of the vest

Attention : Leave a 5 cm opening At the bottom of the vest on the front to be able to flip it later.

Sew at the right point 1 cm from the edge Following the pinned contours.

Step 4: Assemble the underside of the armholes

Once the armholes and the front of the waist was sewn, gently turn the work on the place. Make sure that all seams are well positioned.

Step 5: Sew the bottom of the vest

Make the middle of two armholes by placing them one on top of the other carefully on the counter place.

Pin the bottom of the vest, making sure to align the two fabrics perfectly. Repeat this step on each side, then sew at the right point 1 cm from the edge.

Step 6: Close the opening

Turn the vest backwards, so that it is counter place.

Pin the small opening left at the bottom of the vest. Sew At the right point 1 cm from the edge, making sure to leave a small opening to return the vest one last time.

Once returned right side up close the opening with a invisible hand sewing or a small discreet stitch with machine.

Step 7: Iron the cardigan

Your vest has now mounted! For a perfect finish, iron slightly the fabric using an adapted temperature for the material (avoid strong heat on the faux fur).

And that's it!
Your vest is ready to be worn! Well done 🎉
