Laminette - Transparent elastic band 6mm

Laminette (or transparent elastic) is a thin strip of elastic, made of transparent polyurethane, used in sewing to reinforce, stabilize or make certain seams stretchable, especially in stretchy fabrics such as jersey or lycra.

It prevents seams from relaxing over time or becoming distorted (for example on the shoulders of a jersey t-shirt). It is sewn at the same time as the seam to maintain elasticity while stabilizing the fabric. Widely used in lingerie, swimwear and sportswear. It provides good support while remaining flexible, thin and invisible.
