Cliff Coat Sewing Pattern
Despite the spray and the powerful wind, The cliff coat will keep you warm. Thought like a revisited peaks, it has a shawl collar and a double buttoning, a large bavolet in front which recalls the vareuses, piped pockets, legs of low -sleeved buttoning and its cut is enveloping, worked by folds and a large belt below.
Elegant and comfortable, entirely lined, you can choose whether or not to put the jams, and more or less tighten the bottom of the sleeve.
Sewing level: Intermediate
The technical points are the piped pocket (the most meticulous pocket option), the lining/jacket assembly, the buttoning leg, the collar and the belt.
Size : 34 to 52, for a stature of 1m65.
The seams are included and are 1cm.

Choice of fabric: Only chain and frame fabrics, woolen, jacquard, tweed, heavy denim, gabardine, weight 250 to 700g/m2 depending on the desired rendering. For the lining I recommend that you choose a specific fabric for liners, like our 100% slippery and more breathable lining than polyester.
