EMILY Jacket sewing pattern
Emily is a short, feminine and refined jacket, designed as a real piece of character. Its structured cut and careful details make it both elegant and timeless, ideal for completing a silhouette with style.
The boss suggests two types of collars :
•a classic collar, sober and elegant;
•a ruffled collar, delicately ruffled, which holds and brings a romantic and couture touch to the jacket.
Two back versions also allow you to vary the pace:
•a back with box pleat placed in the middle, for a clean and structured line;
•a gathered back, more supple and feminine, which provides volume and movement.
The pockets are real bellows pockets, worked like patch pockets with flap, but opening discreetly on the side. A subtle detail that reinforces the tailored look while maintaining great practicality.
Fully lined, the Emily jacket is ideal for sewing in fabrics that have staying power, such as gabardine or fine wool.
Emily is an elegant and crafted short jacket, an exciting sewing project that enhances the details and highlights the know-how.
