Pattern n°2493: Dress Disguise
Empire costume (Joséphine). The long tunic (a) is composed of a short bust, a slit front skirt panel and a back train. It is worn over dress (b) with puffed sleeves, the folds of which are held in place by ribbons placed behind the scenes. This dress can also be worn solo, with the fringed scarf (c).
Recommended fabrics: Brocade, Velvet, Cambric, Crepe
