Tutorial: Patchwork on jeans

Equipment :

• Falls of fabrics (printed cotton)

• Upcycler jeans

• a box of pins

• A meter

• Several coils of matching wire with chosen fabrics

• A pair of scissors

• A sewing machine

• embroidery needles

Explanations:

1- Choose different patterns from your fabric falls.

2- Cut out squares of different sizes: - Large: 14 x 14 cm - Middle: 12 x 12 cm - Small: 7 x 7 cm - Strips for the hemlets of the jeans: 8 x (the Tour du Bas du jean) CM

3- Return each square, then make hems of 0.5 cm all around each.

4- Place the pieces of fabric on your jeans at your convenience, by creating fabric overlays. Once the choice is established, pin your patchwork

5- Assemble your bunk fabric squares to the machine.

6- Place your fabric pieces on your jeans, pin them in the place you want.

7- It only remains to fix them on the jeans using a seam by hand, or if you prefer to sew the machine you can overcome the seam of jeans.

8- Regarding the hem at the bottom of the jeans, assemble the ends of the strip of fabric place against the place

9- Spin the band on the back of your jeans, seam at the top of the band then at the bottom of the band
